It's not ok when the media gets involved in politics!

So normally I don't get involved in politics if I can help it, but the front cover of the Daily Telegraph a couple of days ago made my blood boil. Featured was this image:

Since when has it become acceptable for newspapers to publish photoshopped images of our politicians in Nazi uniforms?

Granted, the original images are from the television show Hogan's Heroes, except the fact of the matter is that the paper is clearly and obviously biased. They are influencing the way that Australia votes and for which party they vote for by photoshopping faces of Labor party politicians onto the Nazi bodies. Well, we all now know what the political views of this publication are!

The Daily Telegraph is owned by News Limited, which in turn is owned by Rupert Murdoch, the media giant who owns a large percentage of the Australian media industry. He has made it no secret that he supports the Coalition (Or Liberal) party and this cover will influence the way in which many people vote and has outraged many people across Australia.

One man is so annoyed by the childlike and glaringly obvious political stance of the publication that he has posted this notice in his cafe window:

In an interview with the Brisbane Times, he stated that customers are still more than welcome to bring in their own papers published by Murdoch if they so wish.

The thing that you should think about after reading this: It would be amazing if the media was unbiased when it comes to politics!
